Norse Projects works as a collective. After two skating friends were impressed by the streetwear shops in the early 00’s London scene, they found Copenhagen missed spaces like these and felt inspired to start their own multi brand store. Partnering up with another friend, they set out to create a space that reflected their vision.

The shop opened up with a limited selection of brands and just a year after setting up shop, Norse Projects rolled out an in-house brand of the same name. Norse Projects is inspired by functionality, the classic and the ultra modern. They specialize in blending traditional work and outdoor pieces with the avant garde, Japanese specialty products, technical outerwear and sportswear.

Norse Projects highlights its strong connection to the Scandinavian outdoors. Fusing traditional norse aesthetics and production methods with clean-cut silhouettes. The shop that started it all, situated in the heart of Copenhagen, is the perfect platform for the many collaborations Norse engages in and has become somewhat of a fashion landmark.

“A lot of our style is very Scandinavian, and the colors too are something you could find in the woods or at the sea. It wouldn’t fit Norse to do neon stuff.”
